Dress Up Dolls

Do your little ones enjoy dressing their dolls…or maybe twinning with their dolls? If so, my dress up soft dolls are the perfect choice! These dolls are approximately 18 inches, so all those little girl/doll pajama sets you may have seen will fit these dolls perfectly! I think this style is very well suited for ages 4+. My daughter has continued to enjoy hers through the years!

Swaddle Dolls!

Let me introduce you to the perfect toddler doll…swaddle babies! These dolls are an absolute bestseller in my Etsy shop. The pattern is by Craftyboots Designs, and she is also on Etsy. It’s such a fun pattern! If you don’t sew, no worries…I’ve got you covered:) This is the doll that brings customers back to my shop because their little ones LOVE these dolls, and customers return to buy more for gifts.

Swaddle dolls are for curious toddlers that will enjoy removing the swaddle and then wrapping their baby up again. I used to use doll Velcro but switched to diaper strength Velcro because moms were telling me that their children were wearing out the Velcro (don’t all kids love to hear that rip?). Some of the dolls come with hats that can be removed for practice in dressing dolls. Others have big hair bows that are sewn securely to the dolls. I offer open, smiling, or sleeping eyed versions of the dolls. Some babies have pacifiers, and some just have smiles. If you choose one with a pacifier, please note that it is securely stitched to the doll. I do not use magnets for safety reasons as I am a safety compliant doll maker. You can get your own swaddle baby in my shop.

Dolls for the Tiniest Ones

     Today, I thought I'd share the little dolls that really started my Etsy business. It's a little doll made from a Lachulona pattern (find her on Etsy).  This little doll is so sweet and makes the perfect first doll.  I've made so many of these over the years, and it is a perfectly sized doll for little hands.  The hats on these dolls are sewn on, so there is nothing that could potentially get lost.  This baby doll makes a great gift for a new baby.  

And more little dolls... I've made many boy dolls too.  Don't forget, baby boys also like a little friend to snuggle.

    Hello! Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet!  Maybe you know me from Instagram, or perhaps you've been a customer, or maybe you just stumbled upon me today.  No matter how you got here, I want to personally welcome you to my new blog!  Years ago, I enjoyed writing a blog.  It was called, "Little Monkeys," and it was full of stories about my babies, learning to sew, adventures in homeschooling, and recipes.  I think that blog is still floating around in space somewhere, but let's just say, after the fifth baby, I had no more time for writing.  My "baby" is now eleven years old, so I thought hey...let's try this again!  I'm excited to be able to share what I'm working on in more detail.  Maybe I can even inspire some of you to sew!  Follow along...I'll be back shortly with some Farm Chick dolls:)💗
